2: Costa Rica; A Brief Rundown

Costa Rica is a nation located in Latin America, with Guatemala to its north and Panama to the south. It is a country rich in diversity in its flora and fauna due to its tropical climate and rain forests, allowing for life not seen anywhere else in the world. Along with the variety in its wildlife, the culture is diverse as well, with a mix of traditional native Americans, Spaniards, and African workers who arrived from the Caribbean. The primary languages spoken are Spanish and English. The Costa Rican culture holds a very positive and encouraging identity, which is why National Geographic  says it is one of the happiest countries in the world. They have a strong Spanish presence that came from Spanish colonizers, who spread Catholicism, their native cuisine, and language. While I may seem like I focus all my attention on the Caribbean, I have several other hobbies that I am deeply invested in. For instance, I am in love with cars and I treat my current vehicle like my child. While it may be an expensive hobby for a college student, it brings me ample amounts of gratification to hear my car running and know that the work I have put in is worth it for the outcome.  I also love music, whether it be listening to it or creating it. My experience in music is deep because I have been practicing percussion for the past 8 years, which has allowed me to enhance my listening experience because it allows me to understand on a deeper level how everything fits together. It also lets me connect with the artist and understand the decisions they have made in their music.  Along with these, I also dedicate a significant amount of my time to fashion.
